OK, the title for this weeks article could have been made more non-tech like, but who would notice?
What is the reason behind the article?
I spent all day today working on fixing my system because of a blown SMB MiniRedirector Wrapper service driver which Workstation services depends on. It took me about 90 sec to find the issue. But I decided to look around and see if anyone else was having the issue with Vista or Windows 7.
It turns out I was not the only one and several quote "Microsoft Cert techs" couldn't answer any of the users questions. The quote "Microsoft Cert techs" on the boards recommends reinstalling the OS instead of finding the issue and resolving it.
So I decided to answer a few posts and look for an easier way of resolving the issue. Because I spent 5 hours of my life on this one simple issue, I just had to make an article.
Well that's it for today. Time for me to go do some house work. Tell next time.

The article about using common hand sanitizer
This past week I was so busy with work that I forgot to even make an article. In addition, this weekend, my mind went blank. Today as I started my workday, I saw that I did not even comment or post a new article of the week.
In my hastiness in finding a new quick article, I concluded that making a quick article regarding hand sanitizer was a great idea. I keep a bottle on me at all times and there was a time a few years back that I had to get a little creative with a printer. To my surprise, I found myself a new cleaning solution that had multi purposes, which was so common; I even could have used the clients hand sanitizer.
Imagine if you would, how many issues could have been resolved over the phone by simply asking the user to pick up some hand sanitizer and clean something.
In any case, it is a good article that I am hoping my readers will find satisfactory. And I will be making it up to them this Sunday.

Day one of the blog
Today, I started to review the site contents and work a little more on the fan site on Facebook. I determined that I would use the fan site as a comments/research board to get an overall idea of what people would like to see, and have it also become yet another way for me to offer assistance. I am then going to start making a list of possible news articles and pick one.
During the week, I will start researching and developing the news article that I have chosen to do. I then use my wife, Janelle, as an editor/proofreader. After her review, I will post it whenever it is finished. All my articles have a deadline of Saturday, so I have a task throughout the week to complete.
Now, on to that fan site. :-D
